The AXA XL Human Resources department supports over 12,000 colleagues globally. The team consists of a network of HR Business Partners that are strategically aligned with AXA XL Leadership Team members and the global teams they lead, and that partners with our Centers of Expertise (CoE) in Talent Acquisition and Development, Compensation, Benefits and HR Operations.

This role’s main goal is to assist the HR Manager and the Head of HR in providing a timely and accurate delivery of HR admin services on the entire Employee Lifecycle of the business community in Switzerland.
What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Provide support during the whole employee life cycle (on-boarding/ off-boarding process, payroll, timesheet and holiday tracking, personal files maintenance and update including database maintenance on the HRMS) and ensure everything is maintained on a timely, accurate and confidential basis: work contracts, addendums, attestations, work certificates and any other document and ensuring accuracy and quality
- First point of contact for employees and internal as well as external stakeholders: Handle all inquiries related to HR and to some extent Payroll services and administration
- Manage employee benefit processes including employee inquiries, budget & tool management as well as invoicing
- Provide guidance on labor law, tax, payroll and social security matters
- Support Head of HR, and HR Manager with case management (e.g., long-term sickness or special personal situations) by providing accurate information and analysis.
- Support HR policy implementation and process improvements while ensuring compliance with internal policies, legal regulations, and industry best practices
- General administrative and analytical support to the Head of HR (weekly reporting, agenda management, invoice and account management)
- Participate in HR related projects and internal process optimizations

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
- Commercial apprenticeship or equivalent, HR / Payroll background is a surplus
- Flexible team player who works efficiently and solution-oriented
- Ability and willingness to work in a highly demanding and international environment as well as operating within a complex matrix structure
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- German (native) and English (fluent); additional languages are a plus
- Persuasive customer service orientation with a solution-driven mindset
- Exceptional administrative (Excel & Word) and documentation skills with a high level of accuracy
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and sound judgment
- Self-supported and proactive work approach with a high level of reliability
- Position is located in Zurich (no exception possible)
