Your role:
In this role, you will manage a variety of Tender Management and Distribution Back office processes, ensuring timely and high-quality tender submissions while collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product, and legal. You will provide key resources and tools to the sales team, support existing customers, and foster strong relationships with key commercial stakeholders. Additionally, you will stay informed on customer needs and competitor trends, contribute to the development of sales materials, and help refine the distribution strategy to optimize sales processes and drive market expansion. What you will do:
- Oversee the process of tenders, ensuring deadlines are met and requirements are accurately addressed
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, product and legal to gather necessary information and tailor tender submission to meet quality standards
- Continuously redefine, improve and optimize the tender process together with Business Engineers regarding automation and communication
- Develop and maintain a library of sales enablement materials, templates and standard responses to streamline the tender management process and ensure consistency
- Collaborate with grape’s Sales team to provide necessary resources and tools to effectively sell our products (e.g. AKDs, data visualization, presentations)
- Enable our existing customers (e.g. document delivery, policy updates, ELM profiles, Schadenverläufe etc.)
- Stakeholder management and relationship building:
- Build and maintain a strong relationship with key commercial stakeholders, including sales, engineering, marketing, operations and customer success
- Customer & Competitor knowledge: stay up-to-date with the latest customers and the value of our products to ensure commercial stakeholders are informed with accurate and current information
- Contribute to the definition of the distribution strategy under the lead of the team lead of the division
- Assist in entering new markets, by developing and providing sales materials tailored to new market needs
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to identify areas for improvement in the sales process, implementing solutions
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure sales materials reflect the latest product features and value propositions
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
- Experience in a similar role for 1+ years in sales or sales operations
- Proven experience in defining and executing back-office sales processes, including tender management, meeting preparation, and the setup and preparation of sales documentation and data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in French and English. German is a nice to have
- Ability to effectively present and engage with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights that improve sales effectiveness
- Organizational skills, with the ability to work independently
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and find solutions to challenges faced by the sales team together with the team lea
