Our Sales Team responsible for the region of Iberia, Switzerland & Israel is currently looking for a Clinical Technical Specialist on a permanent basis based in our location in Basel.
The role is responsible to provide clinical and technical support for the entire range of Cochlear products, including hard- and software components, to all distributors, clinics and hearing aid shops. This includes providing on-site clinical/technical services, such as switch-ons/fittings/software programming, solving technical issues, surgical support as well as e-mail and phone support.
The role is further responsible to train clinical professionals and distributor staff about Cochlear's new products and service offerings in collaboration with the marketing team.
The role is close to our channel partners and apart from the clinical technical support and training focus a sales orientation to increase market share is required for this position.
The role contributes substantially to Cochlear’s reputation in Switzerland’s direct market. It is integral part of the role to establish strong relationship with clinic professionals by providing outstanding clinical and technical support.
Key Responsibilities

Providing Clinical and Technical Support to Clinical Professionals and Distributor Staff

Providing Clinical and Product Training on-site or online training

Field Sales Presence and Event Participation

Follow relevant quality procedures to deliver quality products and services and identify and support the implementation of continuous improvement.

Contribute ideas on systems and process methods to improve deliverables

In alignment with Sales Manager, keep all professionals informed and updated on new clinical or technical information and field issues.
Key requirements:
Minimum:
-
Master’s degree in health care sciences/engineering or extensive experience in audiology

Language Skills: German, French and English (fluent), Spanish must be learned

Skilled to work in a fast-moving technological and medical environment

Interested in acquiring business/commercial skills.
